St John of God Bunbury Hospital has an exciting new opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic  

Workforce Lead to join the team working on a permanent part time basis, 45.6 hours a forntight (0.6FTE). 

SJG Bunbury Hospital, located in the south west of Western Australia, is regarded as one of the finest private hospitals outside the metropolitan area. With 145 beds and more than 330 highly qualified medical practitioners, our health care facility caters for a variety of medical and surgical admissions and palliative care,  plus allied health and community-based services. 

Reporting to the Manager Corporate & Support Services, a large focus of the role will be to support and educate  executive teams and frontline operational managers on performance management to develop a high- performance culture. 

Additional areas of effort will include culture and engagement, workforce remodelling and redesign, leadership  development and capacity building to achieve Hospital operation and strategic priorities within legislative requirements and organisational frameworks. 

The successful candidate will have: 

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource related discipline or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Sound generalist HR knowledge and experience across a variety of areas, including performance management and change initiatives.
  • Experience in partnering with leaders to shape organisational culture and build cohesive, high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, advise and influence leaders.
  • High-level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical skills including the ability to identify trends and translate into business outcomes.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Sound computer literacy including MS Office Suite and Human Resource Management Systems.
