Your new role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage recruitment across operational, pre-contract and corporate positions. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies and deliver a positive candidate experience.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage recruitment across operational, pre-contract and corporate positions. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies and deliver a positive candidate experience.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing full-cycle recruitment from briefing through to offer

Creating position descriptions and targeted job advertisements

Sourcing candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn and professional networks

Building talent pools for future workforce needs

Approaching passive and international candidates
-
Supporting visa sponsorship processes

Coordinating interviews, references and pre-employment checks
-
Coaching hiring managers on recruitment processes and best practice

Maintaining accurate records within the recruitment system

Building relationships with agencies, universities and community partners

Providing market insights and recruitment trend updates
What you'll need to succeed
-
Previous internal talent acquisition experience
-
Strong end-to-end recruitment capability
-
Experience recruiting within civil engineering or construction
-
Confidence managing high recruitment volumes and competing priorities

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
-
Experience with PageUp or a similar recruitment system
-
Working knowledge of fair work and anti-discrimination requirements
-
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
