Your new company

Join a small, self‑funded statutory authority undergoing significant organisational uplift within its People & Culture function. You'll be joining a People & Culture team that is transitioning from a reactive, transactional model toward a more strategic business partnering approach. A new leadership structure is in place, an operating‑model review is underway, and work is progressing toward modernising systems, processes and recruitment capability.

Your new role

  • Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment across a diverse professional portfolio, from job briefing through to offer and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to define success profiles, talent needs and hiring priorities, providing expert coaching and advice throughout the process
  • Design and deliver targeted attraction and sourcing strategies, including talent pooling, referral networks and strategic advertising
  • Lead fair, inclusive and compliant selection processes, including panel coordination and the administration of psychometric assessments
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical, specialist and hard‑to‑fill roles
  • Support the uplift of recruitment capability across the organisation, including process improvement, methodology education and best‑practice frameworks
  • Contribute to HR system enhancements, including recruitment technology optimisation and onboarding streamlining

What you'll need to succeed

  • Established experience in end-to-end talent acquisition within a professional, complex or regulated environment
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and business partnering capability
  • Confidence designing and improving recruitment processes with a focus on uplift and continuous improvement
  • Experience leading panels and applying contemporary assessment methods, including psychometric tools
  • Comfort working with applicant tracking systems (experience with Springboard is an advantage however not required)
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
