An opportunity has become available for an experienced National Human Resources Manager to join a well-established Australian organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation. Based on the northern Gold Coast, this senior leadership role offers the chance to shape people strategy, strengthen culture, and partner closely with an executive leadership team to drive business performance nationally.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the people, culture, employee relations and safety agenda across a national multi-site business. This is a highly visible role where your influence will extend from board reporting and workforce planning through to leadership development, organisational design and cultural transformation.
This position suits a commercially minded HR leader who thrives in autonomous environments and enjoys building robust frameworks that support growth, accountability and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a national people and culture strategy aligned to business growth objectives.
- Partner with the CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team on workforce and organisational initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, retention and leadership capability programs.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning and talent management strategies.
- Provide expert advice across employee relations, industrial relations and workplace investigations.
- Strengthen HR governance, policies, compliance frameworks and reporting.
- Oversee WHS programs, risk management initiatives and return-to-work processes.
- Deliver meaningful people insights and reporting to senior leadership.
- Foster a high-performing, accountable and safety-focused culture
What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience in a senior HR leadership role within a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work and WHS requirements.
- Proven experience managing employee relations, industrial relations and workplace investigations.
- Ability to influence and coach executive leaders.
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams and boards.
- Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to work autonomously.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Workplace Relations, Business or a related discipline.
- HRIS and payroll systems experience.
Experience within food manufacturing, distribution, logistics or industrial sectors will be highly regarded
