We're seeking a experienced strategic Improvement Specialist to join our Government client for a temporary assignment for an initial 7-month period. You will be a critical part of a strategic departmental initiative to modernise, streamline, and automate the end-to-end recruitment and selection process. This is a unique opportunity to directly shape a more efficient and compliant recruitment framework that supports broader workforce strategy goals.
About the RoleYou will play a key role in transforming the recruitment process, and your responsibilities will include:

Leading the design, documentation, and refinement of business requirements and workflows to improve the recruitment process.

Collaborating with employment delegates, HR staff, and business support teams to translate stakeholder insights into practical system and process enhancements.

Identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and workflow integration using platforms such as Springboard or PowerApps.

Ensuring all process improvements align with departmental goals, whole-of-government compliance standards, and broader workforce strategy initiatives.
You are a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in business analysis, HR or recruitment. Previous experience within the public sector is highly regarded. You are adept at managing multiple priorities and thrive in a strategic, project-based environment. You have:

Demonstrated experience in business analysis and HR process design.

Proven capability in implementing automation and working with HR technology platforms.

A strong understanding of recruitment and selection practices, candidate experience, and compliance requirements.

The ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* A Criminal History Check is a mandatory requirement for this role.
