The GM P&C will lead a dedicated HR team through the maturation of the HR function. This role is focused on the successful implementation of core HR and safety processes while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.key accountabilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to the Group General Manager and Leadership team, translating business vision into actionable P&C strategy.
- Help lead the upcoming multi-employer bargaining campaign, ensuring innovative, commercially beneficial agreements while fostering positive union relations.
- Lead complex organisational design and change management programs to support our evolving operating model.
- Facilitate senior leadership talent management, succession planning, and development, ensuring recruitment and movement decisions complement overall leadership team effectiveness.
- Govern the end-to-end employee lifecycle - from data-driven HR metrics and performance management to recruitment and safety compliance.
